Today I decided to get a head start on my new years resolution of blogging more for the business and having a better social media presence… for two reasons.

One. It most certainly needed to happen.

Two. I could not think of a better way to start my session blogging than with two people I adore, who fell madly in love, and started my morning in the best way possible– with coffee and a surprise engagement!

I’ve known Jacque + Sean for almost two years now and to be honest– they have always been one of my favorite couples. Jacque’s free spirit perfectly compliments Sean’s spunk. They’re both extremely intelligent. Highly intellectual. They don’t know a stranger. They show a mutual respect for each other that most people never find with a spouse. They’re fun. They adore their friends and family.

I could go on… and on… but what it comes down to is — they just work.

When Sean asked me about setting up a surprise engagement a few weeks ago, I could not have been happier. After tossing around some ideas and attempting to plan around Mother Nature (har har har) we settled on a picnic breakfast at sunrise and began planning. And then, as it does so often– Life happened.

It rained. It poured. It lightninged.

It was gorgeous. I loved every moment. I could not be happier for these two beautiful souls.

And this

was worth it.
